Kochadaiyaan sails through US and Telugu theatrical rights

Rajinikanth-fans have got some genuine reasons to rejoice about as Hyderabad-based Lakshmy Ganpathy Films has purchased the Telugu rights of the much-anticipated filmKochadaiyaanwhile the USA theatrical rights have been sold to Atmus Entertainment for a high price. The Soundarya R. Ashwin-directed movie is likely to hit the big screens in July.

The music has been composed by A.R. Rahman while Rajiv Menon is the cinematographer for the movie.The story has been written by K.S. Ravikumar and the entire unit is busy wrapping up the film’s post-production work in Hong Kong. The film has been jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment.

Kochadaiyaanfeatures some of the big names of the industry like Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nasser along with superstar Rajinikanth.
