Kolayuthir Kaalam Is Unique And Original Story, Says Chakri Toleti

Celebrated Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja had a highly successful year and gave several hits in 2016. Now, the maestro wants to try his hands at production. He is all set to co produce flick, with YSR Films as they are making Kolaiyuthir Kaalam.  

The movie stars Nayanthara in lead and is being directed by Chakri Toleti, who successfully made Unnaipol Oruvan and Billa 2. The director was questioned over the rumours of the flick being remake of Hollywood’s Hush, the director said, “No, the film isn’t a remake of Hush. However, I admit that the lead character is inspired from one of the characters from the film though. Kolayuthir Kaalam is a different plot with multiple actors. We are currently finalising the cast and are planning to announce it soon. Hollywood writers Adam and Carl are penning the script for the film. It is not an adaptation of Hush nor of Sujatha sir’s novel as speculated.”

He sounded excited about the title and said that the title Kolayuthir Kaalam has a ‘great ring to it’. However, he added that since the title was same as novel he did take the permission of Sujatha’s wife.
