Kumki 2 To Star Rolling Soon

Director Prabu Solomon’s Kumki which hit the theatres in 2012 was a super hit. The romantic drama which marked the debut of Vikram Prabhu narrated the story of mahout and his trained elephant. Earlier, rumours were doing the rounds that Prabhu is planning to make its sequel.

And then we heard that he will be doing a film with Udhayanidh. However, the filmmaker has now put the film with Udhayanidh on the back burner and is keen on completing the sequel first which will be titled Kumki 2. The project will start rolling by the end of this month.

“Kumki 2 will have debutantes playing the lead roles. Like the first part, this movie, too, will deal with a love story, though the basic plot will revolve around an elephant. Sukumar, who cranked the camera for Kumki, have been retained for this project,” said Prabhu. The director will soon make the announcements regarding the film’s cast and crew.
