Mahavir Karna's Director In Sabarimala

Filmmaker R. S. Vimal made his directorial debut in 2015 with the Malayalam film Ennu Ninte Moideen. The film fetched him the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Malayalam. He is all prepped up for his next film which is touted to be made on a budget of Rs 300 crore.

His next will be titled as Mahavir Karna and actor-singer Chiyaan Vikram will play the role of Karna in it. The latest in the front is that Vimal visited Sabarimala shrine to seek Lord Ayyappa's blessings. He also carried the movie's script with him during his visit to the shrine.

The film will start rolling in October and will release next year in 2019. It will be extensively shot in Hyderabad and Jodhpur. To play a warrior, Vikram will have to transform his body according to the role. The actor will receive training from international action choreographers abroad for the war sequences of the film. The film will release in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.
