Mamta Mohandas To Star In Prabhu Deva's Next

Malayalam actress Mamta Mohandas is known to have made her Kollywood debut with movie Sivappathigaram. The actress was last seen in the Kollywood movie Thadaiyara Thaakka. According to a story published on deccanchronicle.com, the actress has been roped in many Kollywood movies.

Mamta has been roped in an upcoming movie helmed by Akash Sam. The movie is said to be titled ‘Oomai Vizhigal’. Regarding the movie, Mamta said, “This is not a remake of the original title back in 1986. I am happy I am back to Tamil after a gap and sharing screen space with dance guru Prabhu Deva”.

The upcoming movie will be bankrolled by Passion Film Factory. The director of photography of the upcoming movie is Vishnu Ramakrishnan. Prabhu Deva’s another upcoming movie ‘Mercury’ is also set to release soon. The movie is said to have a silent thriller genre. Mercury is helmed by Karthik Subbaraj.
