Megha Bags Significant Role In Kannan’s Next

Megha Akash is all set to be seen in the upcoming Kollywood directorial of Kannan. The film is yet to be titled, which also features Atharvaa in the lead role. The actress is currently awaiting the release of her forthcoming film Oru Pakka Kadhai, which has been directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan.

Talking about Megha’s role in the film, the director said, “I narrated the script to her and she was very happy to come on board. She plays a city girl who is a viscom student. Her role is very fresh, which has a bearing in the script”. Moreover, he revealed that he had watched Megha’s performance with Dhanush in ENPT, which deeply impressed him.

The untitled film will be an action drama set in the cities of Chennai and Tirunelveli. It has also been heard that the film might have two actresses in the lead roles. However, it has been confirmed that Megha is the only female lead in the flick. The film will be produced under the banner of Masala Pix.
