Muni 3 to have S. Thaman instead of Anirudh Ravichander

The third instalment in Muni franchise Muni 3: Ganga,is running successfully in its production work with Raghava Lawrencegiving creative direction to the film. Earlier Kolaveri fame composerAnirudh was to compose music for the upcoming venture but now it is heard that the composer has dropped this project and Thaman has replaced him.

Anirudh remarked on Twitter that he has time constraints and therefore would not be able to work onMuni 3. Thaman confirmed the news saying, "I have earlier worked with Lawrence forMuni 2.We shared a good rapport and I know what he would expect out of me. Lawrence has been making this film on international standards.”

S. Thaman further added, “The recordings for the songs have already started. It has been challenging so far to compose music for a horror film and I find a lot more scope in it than in the regular genres." Taapsee Pannu and Anjali are finalized as the lead actresses and Raghava Lawrence is to essay the role of lead character Raghava. Muni 3: Ganga is a horror comedy produced by Bellamkonda Suresh and written by the filmmaker himself.
