Muthaiah To Team Up Again With Sasikumar In ‘Kodi Veeran’

It seems that director Muthaiah does want to leave actor M. Sasikumar. The director who was supposed to join hands with Suriya has finally decided to dump the actor and team up with his Kutti Puli actor Sasikumar for his next. The movie is titled 'Kodi Veeran' and is touted to be a full-fledged rural entertainer.

As per the sources, ‘Katti Puli’ is expected to be produced either by Ayngaran Internationals or Lyca Productions. The film will go on floors from March 25, 2017. However, the makers have only finalised the male lead and are still searching for the female lead as well as other supporting characters. The rural entertainer is set against the backdrop of a village and narrates the brother-sister relationship.

'Kodi Veeran' will be Muthaiah’s fourth movie and second with Sasikumar. The Komban director is currently busy with the post-production of his third film 'Marudhu' which will see actors Vishal and Sridivya playing the lead roles. The movie is expected to hit the theatres in the month of April, 2017.
