Nagma cheated by a film festival organizer?

Senior multilingual artist Nagma, who dominated Telugu and Tamil cinemas in 1990s before making it big in Bollywood, is reportedly very angry with the organizers of a film festival who made a “fool” of her. The versatile actress alleged that she had been informed by the organisers of the Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) on mail that she has been selected as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award but they bestowed the award ultimately on veteran actress Sharmila Tagore without even informing her.

Nagma wrote on social networking sites, "Surprised and disgruntled wth the way the jaipur international festival operates, few months since they confirmed my life time achievement award wth me and hv requested me to accept it as it was decided by their Jury ,hv their emails for the same.now they suddenly decide on last min to gv it to sharmila tagore.rigged! I guess one award attracts the others! Here's wishing sharmilaji congratulations for the same."
