    Nassar To A Play A Cop In International Film, Solar Eclipse

    Speculations are rife, that veteran actor Nassar has agreed to be a part of an international venture. The film titled Solar Eclipse is being directed by Pankaj Sehgal and Alegrian filmmaker Karim Traida. Nassar will reportedly play the role of a police officer in the period film, set against the pre-independence era in India.

    The 57-year-old confirmed the news saying, “I am yet to begin shooting for the film. I will be canning my portions in Sri Lanka, from February 16. I play a police officer named SSP Ashok”. Nassar added, “The film is set against in the pre-Independence era. It's not a biography or about the life of freedom fighters, but the film is based on partition that happened during the Independence”.

    Nassar is presently busy shooing for Rajinikanth's Kabali in Malaysia. The actor has previously worked in some English movies like Fair Game, Nothing But Life and Morning Raga. According to reports, the film might also feature Bollywood actors Rajit Kapoor, Om Puri and Ananth Mahadevan in main roles, along with Hollywood actors Vinnie Jones, Alessa Novelli, Bobbie Philips and Bo Svenson among others.
