Now Dhanush Throws His Support For Jallikattu

With Suriya and veteran star Kamal Haasan already making their stand clear on Jallikattu ban, now it is the Maari actor, who spoke his mind. Dhanush supported the traditional bull taming fight and referred it ‘as an integral part of the culture and ethnicity of the state’. The star got immense likes and retweets on his post on Twitter account.

Earlier, Kamal Haasan hit out at anti Jallikattu groups who argue that it is barbaric and inhuman to fight out with animals. Buying the same argument, he counter questioned them by asking, if it would be fair to ban Biryani as well in the country. Some of the other stars who stood for Jallikattu festival in past, were Suriya, Simbu and Shivakartikeyan.

This is not all, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Pannerselvam had also made it clear that the government will carry on the sporting event, despite the Apex Court banning the festival. He has even called for centre government’s intervention on this issue and asked for passing an ordinance for the smooth functioning of Jallikattu festival.
