Parthiepan And GV Prakash To Team Up

Ace dance choreographer Baba Bhaskar is donning director’s hat. He is all se to mark his directorial debut with Kuppathu Raja. Actors GV Prakash and Parthiepan have come on board in the lead for the commercial entertainer.

During an interview with Deccan Chronicle, excited Parthiepan says that it is his first project with GV. “There is a huge slum set that has been erected and I was astounded seeing the magnanimous set-up. I have the confidence that this will be a big film for both of us,” he adds.

Talking about his bonding with GV Prakash, Bhaskar says, “GV and his wife Saindhavi, sang a duet for my film Kathai Thirakaithai Vasanam Iyakkam. Since then we have been good friends. On the first day of shoot, GV said, ‘Instead of being directed by you, we have got the chance to team up like this!” Kuppathu Raja was launched yesterday with formal a pooja. We don’ know much about the film, the complete cast of the film has yet not been revealed.
