Poonam Bajwa Talks About Her Role In Sundar C. Starrer ‘Gundu Kathirikai’

Director Sundar C. will be seen playing the lead character in his next ‘Gundu Kathirikai’, remake of hit Mollywood film ‘Vellimoonga’. Poonam Bajwa, who was seen in director’s ‘Aranmanai 2’, will be seen playing the female lead in this film. Reportedly, the actress has almost completed shooting for her portion.

The Romeo Juliet actress opened up about her role in the political satire film and said, "I am playing a de-glam role in the film. My character has different shades - bubbly, charming yet in a confused state of mind. I had a good time working with Sundar C sir".

She added that the flick won’t be a conventional love story. Also, her look in the film will be new for the audiences. The film will revolve around a middle aged politician who falls for a young girl. Venkat Raghavan has helmed the venture and it will be a complete comedy entertainer. Reportedly, the talkie portion of the film has been wrapped up and only few songs are left to be shot.
