Prabhu Deva To Helm An Upcoming Web Series

Kollywood choreographer turned filmmaker Prabhu Deva is known to have helmed many Kollywood movies such as Engeyum Kaadhal, Villu and Vedi. He has also starred in movies such as VIP, Love Story 1999 and Time. According to a story published on timesofindia.indiatimes.com, Prabhu Deva revealed that he has received an offer to helm an upcoming web series in Hindi.

He said, “Today, there are various entertainment options for the public, like streaming services and other others. The filmmakers have to accept this change and face it. There is no other way. It’s a product of technological change. But idhuvum kadanthu pogum”.

He further stated, “I don’t know. But I did receive an offer to direct a web series, in Hindi, though I did not take it up”. In the recent past, Deva has helmed several Hindi movies such as Singh is Bling, Action Jackson and Rowdy Rathore . He is also bankrolling upcoming Kollywood movies such as Vinodhan and Sila Samayangalil.
