Promotion Is Fuel To Success In Bollywood: S. Shankar

Shankar is one director who likes keeping everything under tight wraps. The filmmaker is currently working on his dream project, 2.0 starring Rajinikanth. The sequel to Enthiran has Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar as lead antagonist.  

On recently being asked why he likes shooting secretively, he responded by saying, "Now, let me ask you something. You are going to see a film, but someone else has seen it before you. If they come to you and tell you the story, how will it be? It is the same logic".

However, Shankar made it clear that this logic mostly works out in Kollywood, unlike Bollywood. He observed that in Hindi film industry there is strong need to promote movies. 2.0 will have Amy Jackson as lead female, where Aishwarya played this part earlier.
