Raghava Lawrence To Star In ‘Shivalinga’ Remake?

Rumours have been doing the rounds that Rajinikanth will star in the remake of blockbuster Kannada film ‘Shivalinga’. The superstar watched the Shiva Rajkumar starrer and appreciated the film, this led to the rumours that he might star in the remake. Now another star is being linked to the film.

Speculations are rife that Raghava Lawrence has been approached to reprise the role of Shiva in the remake. A source revealed, "It is true that the actor-filmmaker has been considered to star in the Tamil remake of this horror film to play the character essayed by Shiva Rajkumar in the original. Lawrence has watched the original and is keen on doing it. P Vasu, who directed the Kannada version, is currently in London, and it is only after his return that a final call will be made on the project".

Rumours were doing the rounds that Anushka Shetty will be playing the female lead in the flick. However, the source thrashed the rumours and said that the leading lady for the film is yet to be finalized.  We will have to wait for the official announcement regarding the final cast for the film.
