Rajinikanth Up Against Arnold Schwarzenegger

Thalaivar’s upcoming film Enthiran 2 will star Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger as he has been roped in to play the antagonist. The first choice for the role was Bollywood superstar Amir Khan but he could not be a part of the project due to prior commitments. The movie will be shot in 3D.

Director Shankar talked about the film and said, “I and Arnold are good friends and have spoken many times about movies and he had often expressed his desire to act in an Indian film”. He added, “Recently Arnold was in India and had attended the audio launch of my film 'I' starring Vikram. It was during that time I discussed the plot of ENTHIRAN 2 with him and he was overwhelmed by the plot and gave his nod to act in the film”.

Shankar wanted to leave no stone unturned for the film and wanted a global power packed personality. He said, “Arnold will be here for 25 days first schedule. His dates will be finalized after Rajini sir completes his upcoming film KABALI”. The motion capture sequences or the film will be shot at a Hollywood studio.
