Rajinikanth Will Be Present At The ISL Opening Ceremony

With the shooting for the forthcoming film Kabali underway, mega star Rajinikanth has been invited to grace the opening ceremony of the Indian Super League (ISL) Football tournament. Along with Thalaivar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and A.R.Rahman will also be present. Aishwarya and Rahman will be performing at the event.

The officials recently confirmed the actor’s invitation and acceptance. Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush has been given the title of brand ambassador for the ISL in Tamil Nadu. The opening ceremony will be held in Chennai.

Kabali will be about an old mob boss who is trying to maintain his control. The movie will have Rajinikanth play a character close to his own age. It is written and directed by Pa. Ranjith and the cast includes, Radhika Apte, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan, Dinesh Ravi and Dhansika. Kabali will be Rajini’s 159th film. The principal photography for Kabali began on August 21 in Chennai and the filming will take place in Malaysia, Bangkok and Hong Kong.
