Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ Completes 100 Days Of Shooting

Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for the release of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kabali’. There has been a huge buzz around the film and it has overshadowed the actor’s other film ‘2.0’. Director S. Shankar is busy shooting for the film and his team has completed 100 days of shooting.

Reports suggest that the team of the science fiction film is currently shooting in Chennai. They are busy canning some portions involving film’s antagonist Akshay Kumar in different getups. The schedule is being shot in places like Forum Mall in Vadapalani and the Pantheon road in Egmore.

Reportedly, Rajinikanth is in the U.S. on a break. After the Lingaa star returns to India the team plans to film scenes featuring him and film’s female lead Amy Jackson. A. R. Rahman is scoring the music for the film which will also feature Sudhanshu Pandey as the other villain. The project is being bankrolled under Lyca Productions banner and will hit the screens next year.
