Rajinikanth’s new dual look revealed in Kochadaiyaan’s latest official poster

There’s good news for Rajinikanth fans. The Tamil megastar’s new look in his much-awaited filmKochadaiyaanhas been released officially for the first time in the latest poster of the film. The picture has been shared by the star’s daughter and director of the film Soundarya R. Ashwin through her Twitter account, captioning it as “A still fromKochadaiyaan:)”.

The superstar will be seen onscreen after a long gap due to his kidney ailment. The film, which has been made using performance capturing technology, has wrapped up its shooting and dubbing work and is presently undergoing its post-production phase. It was reported earlier that Rajini will play a double role in the film, both Kochadaiyaan, the loyal warrior of an emperor as well as his son Rana. The reports have been confirmed by the new looks revealed.

Kochadaiyaan, which is India's first 3D performance capturing motion picture, also stars Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Shobhana, Aadi Pinisetty, R. Sarath Kumar and Nassar. The music has been composed by A. R. Rahman and its music will be launched around this May. The film will be released in July, in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English versions at the same time.
