Rajnikanth to romance Vidya Balan in his next

According to a report, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has been approached to play Rajinikanth’s leading lady. Vidya Balan had earlier said that she was willing to debut in Tamil, if the right script comes her way. She had also evinced interest in working with Rajinikanth.The film will be directed by Pa. Ranjith.

"Talks are on with Vidya Balan", confirms a source associated with the film. "The makers have been negotiating with her for a while now, but the actress is yet to give her nod. She is definitely among the leading ladies who have been approached for this role”, the source added.

The project is likely to take off in August with a 60-day shooting schedule in Malaysia. The film will have music by Santosh Narayanan. The movie will be made in Pa. Ranjith's style, and the usual elements of Rajinikanth's films are unlikely to be seen in the flick.
