Rajnikanth’s Next, Kaala all Set to Release on April 27

Rajnikanth’s upcoming film, Kaala, is all set to hit the theatres on April 27. Actor and producer Dhanush announced the release date by sharing a new poster of the movie on social media. The date was originally set for the release of Rajnikanth’s other project 2.0.

However, there are less chances of a clash between both the Rajnikanth movies as we can expect a new release date for 2.0. The movie, a sci-fi film, will feature Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. Previously, there has been a delay in the release of the film, due to the ongoing special effects, as the filmmakers said.

According to reports, Kaala is based on the struggles of Tamils from Thirunelveli in Mumbai. The legendry actor plays a don in the film, who fights for the rights of an oppressed class. The movie is the second project by Rajnikanth and director Ranjith. The movie also stars Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi , Samuthirakani and Pankaj Tripathi among other actors.
