Rakul Preet Singh Walks Out Of in Vishal’s ‘Thupparivaalan’

Several months back it was announced that Rakul Preet Singh will play the female lead in Vishal’s ‘Thupparivaalan’. Later, Akshara Haasan was roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. Now, reports suggest that Rakul has walked out of the venture.

The Yennamo Yedho actress has left the Mysskin directorial citing a hectic schedule ahead. She confirmed the news and said, "It is true that I'm no longer a part of the project. As per the initial plans, the film was supposed to start a little earlier, based on which I had committed to other projects. I'm currently shooting for Mahesh Babu's untitled bilingual film with AR Murugadoss at the helm and Ram Charan-starrer Dhruv, the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan".

Rumours were doing the rounds that the Puthagam actress has been roped in for Vikram’s ‘Saamy 2’. However, she dismissed the rumours and said that she has not been approached for the flick. Speculations are rife that Anu Emmanuel will now replace Rakul in ‘Thupparivaalan’.
