Ram Charan, Arvind Swami To Reunite For Mani Ratnam's Upcoming Bilingual

If recent reports are anything to go by, actor-producer Ram Charan will unite with his Dhruva co-star Arvind Swami once again. During the promotions of the Surender Reddy Telugu directorial, Ram had revealed that his next with Mani Ratnam might fall into place soon. The latest we hear is that Ram and Arvind will be seen together in the ace director’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

“The film’s shoot is likely to begin in August, after Ram Charan completes his next Telugu project”, a source was quoted as saying. The source added, “As for Arvind, he’s got a lot of projects in the pipeline but he will make time for this film considering his close association with Mani Ratnam, who played an important role in his comeback into films after a long hiatus. He will play a very crucial role, something which the director has specially written for him”.

Tipped to be an action-based story, the movie will be jointly bankrolled by Ram Charan and Ratnam’s Madras Talkies. Music for the flick will be composed by AR Rahman. The remaining cast and crew will be finalised soon. The film’s pre-production is expected to start soon after the release of Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’.
