Ram Sevaa Talks About His Directorial Debut 'Tea kadai bench’

'Tea kadai bench’ is said to a hub of all jobless people. It is a place where all jobless people gather and discuss everything. But, Ram Sevaa, who is coming up with his debut directorial titled 'Tea kadai bench’ does not agree to this.

He says that 'Tea kadai bench’ is not only a place for jobless people to discuss everything, but sometimes something good and even revolution can also happen. He is very excited the way his movie has shaped up. Talking about the flick, the director said, "This is a family entertainer, and has romance and humour in equal measure. People say that wastrels spend their time at tea shops, talking about things that doesn't affect them. But in this film, the hero gains a lot here; he makes friends for life here, and also realises the importance of living right."

The movie features Ramakrishnan of Kunguma Poovum Konjum Puravum fame in the lead role. Talking about roping in Ramakrishnan, Ram said, "He fit the role well, and has given a good performance. Tharushi, who has done a couple of Malayalam films, is making her Kollywood debut with this. We shot the film in Pazhani and Kodaikanal, and completed it within 50 days.”
