Rum Hits Post Production Stage, Expect High-End CG Effects

As the shooting for the Rum wraps up, filmmakers are busy with post-production work. This Sai Bharath’s flick is currently going through heavy CG effects, which is said to be a great horror-thriller movie. The stars to feature in the flick are Hrishikesh, Sanchita Shetty, Vivekh, Narein, Miya George and Amzath.

"We have used high-end CG work for the film. Normal movies run in 24 frames per second, but for this project we have use HFR (High Frame Rate), in which it runs in 48 frames per second. In 24 frames module, there is a bit of motion blur and it tends to flicker. But in this, the frames will be sharp and clear”, said Sendil B., who has done the visual effects for the film.

He added that it would be much closer to what we see with our human eye. The team is also planning to release a two minute trailer very soon. Sendil is also working on Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marappathillai presently.
