Samantha To Play Slum Girl In 'Vada Chennai'?

It is already known that Dhanush will be teaming up with director Durai Senthilkumar for his next. The film is expected to go on floors after Diwali. After the film is completed, the Maari actor will collaborate with director Vetrimaran for 'Vada Chennai'. The duo has worked together earlier in two films.

According to reports, Samantha will be playing the female lead in the flick. Sources close to the film’s unit reveal that the actress will be playing the role of a slum girl in the film. The story of the film will revolve around north Chennai and the lifestyle of the people living in that area.

Reportedly, Dhanush will be playing double role for the first time in his career. The two-part gangster saga will be bankrolled by the Kolaveri Di star under his home banner Wunderbar Films. Reports suggest that the actor has committed almost nine months for the movie.
