Samantha To Step Into Savitri’s Shoes

Earlier there was news that, post the announcement of Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya marriage, she was not being approached for any film. But now we hear that the actress has been roped in for Savitri’s biopic. In the film, the 29-year-old actress will be essaying the role of iconic late actress Savitri.

However, the Samantha’s spokesperson has confirmed the news. As per sources, “Samantha has been contacted and she is keen to listen to the story narration. She would be listening to the script later this week”, he revealed. If everything goes smooth on Samantha’s end then the film will soon go on floors.

However, essaying the role of versatile Savitri is not that easy and is likely to be challenging for any actress. Well, let’s pin our hopes on how Samantha dons her character. If reports are to be believed then the Tollywood filmmaker Nag Ashwin will be helming the project.
