Samuthirakani Plans To Start K Balachander’s Dream Project Soon

Director Samuthirakani is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Appa’. After wrapping up the release work of the film, he plans to start with the dream project of his mentor K Balachander. The great director, producer, writer and actor wrote the script of the film and wanted to direct it before he breathed his last in 2014.

Samuthirakani confirmed the same and said, "The film was the dream of my guru, and I do not want to approach any producer and request them to fund it. So, I will be producing it myself, in addition to directing it". The actor-director added that he will also act in the flick. He will play the role that Balachander had planned for him.

Samuthirakani further shared that the launch of this project depends on the business of ‘Appa’. He said, "I'm the producer of that film as well, and if it does well, then, I will start this production immediately”. Hopefully, he will soon start his mentor’s dream project.
