Santhana Devan’s Poster Unveiled, And It’s All About Jallikattu

Currently, the rampant subject in Tamil Nadu is the ban on the centuries-old bull taming sport Jallikattu. The festival of Pongal is around the corner and the people of Tamil Nadu, including celebrities are protesting fervidly against the ban. During such rage in the state, director Ameer and Arya have added more kerosene to the burning fire as they just unveiled the first look of their forthcoming film Santhana Devan, in which Jallikattu plays a pivotal role.

The first look unveils the powerfully built actor Arya dressed only in a dhoti as he tries to tame a large bull, in a stadium with spectators witnessing the spectacle on the sidelines. He is also accompanied by his brother Sathya, who also plays a crucial role in the film. Apart from unveiling the first look, he wrote a very sweet welcome note for director Ameer when he joined Twitter. The note read, “Welcome @DirAmeer sir to Twitter. Thanks for the great opportunity #SanthanaDevan Shall live up to your expectations #JallikattuForSure.”

With the growing support for the bull taming sport, this film is now receiving an overwhelming reaction. Santhana Devan will allegedly go on floors by the end of January. Desimartini wishes that the movie sails smooth at the box office.
