Sathyaraj and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar To Play Lead In Debutant Director Sarjun KM’s Next

Sarjun KM, who is a short film maker, has always dreamt of being on top of heap in the film industry since childhood. Besides making short films, he also assisted AR Murugadoss and Mani Ratnam in their films. It seems the director will be on cloud nine as his dream of making it big in the film industry has been fulfilled.

Sarjun is making an entry into the film industry as a director with Echarikai Idhu Manidhargal Nadamadum Idam. And do you know which actors the director has casted in his movie? None other than Sathyaraj and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar to play the lead.

Talking about his debut movie, Sarjun says, “I learned the art of filmmaking through short films and gained exposure by assisting legendary directors. My first feature film, Echarikkai… is a suspense drama based on lord Karna’s ideology — if you do good, you will receive it back. The film has parallel stories which would culminate into a single motive towards the climax.”

Varalaxmi will be seen playing a dancer in the movie. The movie also stars Kishore, Yogi Babu, Jayakumar and newcomer Vivek Rajagopal who will be seen playing supporting roles. The film is jointly produced by CP Ganesh and Sundar Annamalai  under Timeline Cinemas.
