Veteran actor Sayaji Shinde has been spotted dressed as an aghori at a set resembling Haridwar, erected at MGR Film City. The actor was seen along with a few other artists, who, too, were in the similar get-up. Tentatively titled as Aghori, the movie is marking the debut of Rajkumar as a director.

The director asserts Aghori as a first-of-its-kind project. According to him, around 200 people were auditioned to portray the role of aghoris. Finally, many of them were chosen based on their features, hairstyle, etc, and all of them had attended a workshop for a week. Rajkumar says, “Aghori is a bilingual movie, and will be released in Telugu with a different title. The film, the basic plot of which is the fight between the good and evil, has CG-generated scenes that will appear for almost an hour”.

Danger Mani has come on board as the stunt choreographer for the project. Moreover, Jayachandran and Vasanth are handling the art department and cinematography respectively. Currently, in the last leg of production, Aghori has Mime Gopi, Riyaz Khan and Sruthi Ramakrishnan among others in prominent roles. RP Bala is one of the producers and dialogue writer for the movie. While Sayaji Shinde plays the titular role, Mime Gopi will be seen as a tantrik, and Madhu Babu will play the antagonist.
