Shruti And Akshara Not Behind The Split, Says Kamal’s Ex-partner Gautami

Yesteryear star Gautami has opened up about her split with Kamal Haasan. It was rumoured that the two decided to part ways form their 13-year-old relationship because of the quarrel between her and Kamal’s daughter Shruti. However, Gauthami denied such reports and said it has nothing to do with either Shruti or Akshara.

“Having been a part of the film industry for nearly 20 years, I have been working all the time. And when it’s time for a transition in life, some pain is inevitable. I want to spend more time with my daughter and think about her future,” she added by saying, “It could have been hidden if I wanted to,” Gautami said.

On Shruti and Akshara, the actress said, “They are surely not a reason for me taking such a big decision. “I don’t think I have the right to oppose them in any way”. She would instead support them in any possible way if it has anything to do with her, felt Gautami.
