Silambarasan’s ‘Idhu Namma Aalu’ To Hit Screens On April 14

Last week, it was reported that Silambarasan’s ‘Idhu Namma Aalu’ has been postponed yet again. The film has faced repeated postponements in the past as well. Speculations were that the film will hit the theater screens in the first week of April, however it is not so.

Sources close to the film’s unit claim that the Pandiraj directorial will now hit the screens on April 14. The fans have been eagerly waiting for the film in which Simbu will be seen with Nayantara for the first time. Touted as romantic-comedy, the flick also features Andrea Jeremiah as the other female lead.

A source close to the director opened up about the story of the film and said, “Usually, when families decide on an alliance, they fix the engagement date first and then the wedding date a few months later. Idhu Namma Aalu is about the guy getting to know his girl during this interim period between engagement and wedding. He falls in love with her”. The actor will be hoping to deliver a great entertainer this time as his last offering ‘Vaalu’ got mixed responses.
