The Story of Shiva’s 'Masala Padam' Revealed

The director and co producer Laxman Kumar has revealed the synopsis of his upcoming Tamil flick Masala Padam. Laxman Kumar is a renowned cinematographer and Masala Padam is his debut movie as a director. The film is currently under post-production and is expected to hit the theatres by September 2015.

In a recent press interaction director Laxman has revealed the crux of the story with Bobby Simha, Mirchi Shiva and Gaurav playing the role of movie fan from C class, B Class and A Class respectively. The film is shot in Chennai.

 
Lakshmi Devy, who is making her debut entry in Kollywood is playing the female lead, had also written the film's screenplay. The soundtrack and background score are composed by newcomer Karthik Acharya, while editing is handled by Richard Kevin. Lahari Music has acquired the audio rights of the film and is making their re-entry to the Tamil music industry with Masala Padam.
