Suriya Supports Actor Venturing Into Politics

According to actor Suriya , there is nothing wrong in actors inclining or joining in politics. The actor said in a recent interview that he feels legendary actors like MGR and Jayalalithaa madam who ventured into politics gave good governance and served the society. He further said, “Rajini sir, Kamal sir and Vishal are embarking on a new journey and I wish them all success”.

On the work front, the actor will be seen in the upcoming film Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. Recently the audio of the film was released, which stars actress Keerthi Suresh. The actor will be romancing Keerthi in the film to be released on Pongal day.

Suriya further praised his co-star Keerthi, saying, “She has an imposing personality. Her energy levels are infectious. I am in awe of her for being the best of both worlds - balancing home and profession so well”. At the audio launch event, other stars were also present, which included Thambi Ramaiah, Suresh Menon and Kiran. However, Anirudh who had scored the peppy album was absent.
