Fans of Thalaivar were left in shambles after the news of his death surpassed on internet. An online portal first posted the piece stating that it was the heart attack that caused actor’s death. However, they removed the article and said the news was based on rumours on Rajini’s prolonged stay in United States.

On this his publicist made a statement over Sivaji star’s health, "Rajinikanth sir is absolutely fine. He is vacationing in the US and is expected is return soon. Due to rigorous shooting schedule, doctors had advised him to take a break. Hence, he decided to go on a holiday.”

Rajinikanth has his Kabali all set to hit cinemas next month. Moreover, the progress of 2.0 is going in the right direction as S. Shankar recently announced that the movie is half complete. It is not certain if the actor will like to take a legal action against the portal for making such an irresponsible announcement.
