Thala's Blockbuster 'Mankatha' Completes Four Years

The 50^th film ‘Mankatha’ of the highly talented actor Ajith was released on August 31, 2011. The film was released on the occasion of Ramzan festival. It’s been four years since the release of the movie. The flick was made under the direction of Venkat Prabhu who had delivered back to back hits till then.

The trailer of the movie was released just a month before the theatrical release. The trailer took Ajith’s fans by storm and turn out to be the best ever trailer cut for an Ajith starrer. The music album of Yuvan Shankar Raja was also released along with the trailer and was able to impress everyone. 

‘Mankatha’ stands as one of the most successful and most gratifying film of Ajith’s career. Ajith’s role in the flick was liked by almost everyone. The film received a great response. It turned out to be a fantastic entertainer with loads of action, comedy, romance, glamour and thrill.
