‘Theri’ Biggest Hit Of Vijay’s Career Says Kalaipuli S. Thanu

Vijay is basking in the success of his latest offering ‘Theri’. The film stormed the box office on the day of its release in India, as well as overseas. It grossed over Rs. 1 crore on its opening day and became the first Tamil film to reach the 1 crore mark on the first day of its release.

During a recent interview, Kalaipuli S. Thanu, the producer of the flick, called the film the biggest hit in the career of the Puli actor. He said, "This is a historical victory. We can say this is the biggest in llayathalapathy Vijay's career. The film has collected that much. While we can call it a sure hit in Tamil Nadu, the film has stormed the overseas box office as well”.

Reportedly, the Atlee directorial has crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark and has entered the 100 crore club. The action-entertainer is doing fabulous business in the Telugu states as well. Looks like the film will shatter many more records in the coming days.
