This Actor To Play The Lead In Pelli Choopulu Tamil Remake

Telugu flick Pelli Choopulu released last year in July. The film not only did well at the box-office but was also applauded by the critics. Helmed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and bankrolled by Raj Kandukuri and Yash Rangineni, the film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma in the lead roles.

The last we heard about the film was the film is being now made in Tamil too. Director Gautham Menon has bagged the remake rights of Telugu film. While we knew that actress Tamannaah has been taken aboard for the venture, here comes the male lead of the film. The makers have zeroed in on actor Vishnu Vishal for playing the hero in the film.

Coming straight from the horse’s mouth, Vishnu has himself confirmed the news. He said, "I am happy to be a part of the project, as the film has a fresh concept. We are planning to begin the shoot in the month of July or August". Reportedly, the film will be changed a little bit to suit the Tamil audience.
