Upen Patel To Star In Kannan's Next Alongside Atharvaa

Model Upen Patel is known to have made a powerful debut in the Kollywood industry. The actor starred in a negative role in the Shankar helmed movie I. After a long gap of three years, the star has been roped in another Kollywood project.

In this upcoming movie, the star will once again portray a negative role. The movie is helmed by Kannan, who has previously helmed movies such as Jayamkondaan, Kanden Kadhalai and Vanthaan Vendraan. The movie will star Atharvaa in the lead role.

On being asked about the authenticity of the news, Kannan replied saying, “I met Upen in Mumbai last week and he was quite taken by the script. He is the ideal fit for the role and he was quite excited with the scope his character offers him. Right now, we are finalising his looks and other details. I'm excited about the climax action sequence between him and Atharvaa”.
