UTV Motion Pictures joins Suriya’s Anjaan as co-producer

It has been announced by UTV Motion Pictures that Suriya’s upcoming film with N. Lingusamy, Anjaan, will be co-produced by them along with Thirupathi Brothers. The film has Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead along with Bollywood actors like Vidyut Jamwal and Manoj Bajpai in other pivotal roles.

G. Dhananjayan, Chief for South Business, UTV Disney, issued a statement saying, "We are extremely delighted to continue our strong relationship with N. Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers after our two successful films -'Vettai' and 'Ivan Veramathiri'. We look forward to working with Suriya and are confident that the movie will be a huge mass entertainer and certainly one to look out for in 2014.”

Lingusamy also expressed his pleasure over the partnership between his production house and UTV. He said in a statement, "We share a great relationship with UTV and our co-productions with them through our banner Thirrupathi Brothers, in the past have been highly successful. We value their support and understanding and happy to co-produce 'Anjaan' with them.” As reported earlier Anjaan has already wrapped up its first schedule of shooting in Mumbai and is getting ready for the second one which will begin by January-end in Goa.
