Velaikkaran Follows Mersal’s Footsteps For Promotion

Makers these days always try to find out some ways through which they can attract the viewers to watch their film. The team of Mersal followed a unique way by not releasing any trailer of the film. They only released a teaser and television promos along with the songs, increasing the interest of viewers and still, the film was a hit. 

Something similar is being planned for the Tamil film Velaikkaran which is being directed by Mohan Raja. The film also stars Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, Sneha, Prakash Raj among others. The makers of Velaikkaran have not released any trailer, following the line of Mersal.

For films like this, it is said that trailers sometimes reveal a lot or give the hint about the best scenes in the movie. The story also gets predictable and viewers lose interest in the film. So, it is indeed a good strategy to promote a film.
