Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings’ To Transform Boys Into Men

Yesterday, Venkat Prabhu launched the sequel of sports-comedy titled ‘Chennai 600028’. The prequel was a huge hit among the movie goers. It revolved around few boys who shared passion for the game of cricket. This time, the story will see the transition of young boys to grown up men.

According to reports, director Venkat Prabhu will portray the lives of few middle aged men in the flick. Probably, the transition from boys to men will change their approach for the game and the flick might also focus on the other aspects of their lives. It will be interesting to see how the director fit in these changes in the second instalment.

Vaibhav Reddy has been roped in for the sequel titled ‘Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings’. The actor shared the plans for the shoot and said, "We will begin the shoot from April 11. We will be shooting in Chennai for about 10 days and will then head to Courtallam-Tenkasi side for a 30-day schedule. It feels great to be back with the team". Another addition has been made to the cast in the form of Mahat Raghavendra. Hopefully, the additions will bring more success for the second part.
