Venkat Prabhu’s Next To Feature Chandran And Nivetha Pethuraj?

His last movie Chennai 600028: Second Innings, which was a sequel to Chennai 600028, was a super hit and now Venkat Prabhu who wrote and directed the movie is gearing for his next directorial venture. If reports are to be trusted, the Saroja director is looking forward of casting Chandran of Kayal fame and Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead. Producer T Shiva of Amma Creations will be producing the movie.

A source said, “It is true that the team is considering Chandran and Nivetha for the movie, but they haven’t been brought on board officially as of now. The project is in pre-production stage and the director is busy giving final touches to the script. The actors might sign the contract in the coming weeks.”

The flick is touted to be a light-hearted entertainer entwined with romantic elements. It is not the first time that Venkat Prabhu and T Shiva are working. They have earlier worked together in Saroja. The source further added, “They have mutual respect for each other and have been planning to come together for a long time. This will be another great movie from them.”
