Vetrimaaran To Direct Rajinikanth For His Next?

Speculations are rife that super star Rajinikanth Kanth and award winning director Vetrimaaran might collaborate for a blockbuster film. If reports are to be believed, the director recently came face-to-face with Rajinikanth to narrate the story of his next. However, there hasn’t been any official announcement of the actor and director coming together for the movie.

Both the director and the actor are currently occupied with different projects. Vetrimaaran is has busied himself shooting the first part of ‘Vada Chennai’, and Rajinikanth is engaged with the shooting of ‘Kaala’. Therefore fans might have to wait a little longer for the collaboration to materialize.

Vetrimaaran had gained popularity for his critically acclaimed films like ‘Visarasnai’ and ‘Polladhavan’.  He presently holds many awards for his direction. In 2016 itself, he received one Filmfare Award and four National Film Awards, making him one of the most prolific directors of the time.
