    Vietnam Veetu Sundaram Passed Away

    Vietnam Veetu Sundaram, known for his impressive scripts, direction and acting skills, has passed away this morning, August 6. He was 73-years-old and died due to age related sickness. As per reports, this veteran personality took his last breath at around 6 a.m. at his residence in Chennai.

    The popular Tamil scriptwriter-director was born in Sundaram in 1943. He made his debut in Kollywood as a script writer in 1970 with drama film directed by P. Madhavan, named ‘Vietnam Veedu’. He has also directed a couple of films and has also acted in a few movies. Later, he turned into a small screen actor and was featured in multiple T. V. serials.

    He has won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Dialogue Writer for his magnum opus, 'Vietnam Veedu’ in 1970. He has served the big and small screen industry for around 46 years. In such an extended career, the man has acquired immense fame and honour.
