Vignesh Sivan Shares Details On Naanum Rowdy Dhaan

The Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara starrer Naanum Rowdy Dhaan will be releasing tomorrow. Directed by Vignesh Sivan, the movie will be his second directorial after Podaa Podi. Naanum Rowdy Dhaan is produced by Dhanush under his banner Wunderbar Films.

Vignesh described the film saying that it is an emotional comedy. Nayanthara is the daughter of a cop and Vijay Sethupathi’s mom is also a cop. Parthepan will be seen as the antagonist in the film. The director also revealed details about Nayanthara’s character as it was rumoured that she will play hearing and speech impaired person. He stated that she is deaf but can speak.

Nayanthara has also dubbed herself for some part of the film. She also used glycerine for a part where she was supposed to cry. The director has been inspired for the characters from his own life. His parents are also police officers and can relate to children who grow up in the environment.
