Vijay Up Against Sudeep Again, This Time For The Box Office Cake

Kicha Sudeep plays the lead role in the film Mudinja Ivana Pudi. The movie directed by K.S. Ravikumar will be a Kannada/Tamil bilingual. Sudeep will share screen space with Nithya Menen.

Sudeep also played the antagonist in Puli which starred Illayathalapathy Vijay in the lead role. Vijay’s upcoming film Theri will hit the screens on April 14. The filmmakers of Mudinja Ivana Pudi are planning for an April 8 release for their film. This means, Sudeep and Vijay will clash once again, sort of, at the box office.

Mudinja Ivana Pudi is currently in the post production stage. The music has been scored by D.Imman. The movie will be produced under the Rockline Venkatesh banner. Director K.S. Ravikumar’s last project Lingaa was a failure at the box office as it failed to capture the interest of the audience despite the star cast. The movie starred Rajinikanth, Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty. It was released back in 2014.
