Vijay Donate Rs. 3 Crore For Flood Relief Through His Fan Club

Vijay is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Theri’. The film is 80 percent complete and the team is working hard to wrap it by Pongal 2016. Despite having a busy schedule, the Puli actor took some time off to help the people affected by recent floods in Chennai, Cuddalore and Pondicherry.

According to reports, Vijay has donated Rs. 3 crore through his fan club Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. The members of the welfare club went door to door for distributing food, clothing and other necessary things. In some places, the Thalaivaa actor himself went to distribute relief materials.

The members of the fan club have been working immensely and effectively to help the rain affected people. A spokesperson of the fan club shared that Rs.4000 each was given to the members who were affected by the floods. Many other actors of Kollywood Film Industry have also made valuable contributions to help the people.
